1. The Pixel 10 Series Overview :
On August 20, 2025, Google released its 10th generation Pixel smartphones at a hardware launch event dubbed, "Made by Google". There are four models in the series:
• Google Pixel 10
• PIXEL 10 Pro
• Pixel 10 pro XL
• Pixel 10 Pro Fold ( bendable model)
2. Design and Exhibits :
The new models have kept a similar design language to the Pixel 9 series with minor adjustments and elongated camera islands.

* Pixel 10 : 6.3-inch Actua OLED, Full HD+ (1080 x 2424 px), 60-120 Hz mode of refresh and it comes to the Gorilla Glass Victus 2 with a maximum brightness of 3000 nits.
* Pro versions : Super Actua LTPO OLED displays--6.3 inch in Pro; 6.8 inch in Pro XL--both 1-120 Hz with improved resolution; both Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and 3300 nits maximum brightness.
-New color palette of bright colors has been presented:
* Pixel 10 is available in Obsidian (black), Frost (light blue) and Indigo (rich blue), and Lemongrass (pale yellow).
There are pro models in Porcelain (white), Moonstone (muted), Obsidian (dark), and limited-edition Jade (green) such that some storage-color combinations are not allowed.

3. Performance and Power: the New Tensor G5 SoC :
All 10 series models are powered by the new Tensor G5 chip, the first custom chip made by Google and fabricated on TSMC 3nm node, which promises up to 60 percent faster TPU performance and up to 34 percent faster CPU, compared to its predecessor.
• Maxwell increased AI capacity: The Gemini Nano model is efficient on the G5 to support the power of on-device generative AI capabilities

4. Auto Features Camera System & AI :
Pixel 10 (Base Model)
• Also now features a triple-camera setup, which is new to a non-Pro Pixel:
• 48 MP main (HDR+ and 10-bit HDR video)
• 12 MP ultrawide
• 10 MP telephoto with 5x optical zoom and 20x Super Res Zoom.
• 10 MP autofocus front camera with a field of view of 95 degrees that allows taking wider panorama selfies.
Pro Models :
Improved imaging and functions such as 100x Super Res/Pro Res Zoom 8K video and AI-powered photo features.

AI Abilities of the Series :
• Magic Cue: Situational AI-guided recommendations (e.g., the appearance of flight data in the middle of a call).
Camera Coach Camera tips on the screen.
• Other tools: Auto Best Take, real-time translation that mimics speaker voices, and generative journaling functions available on-device through Tensor G5.
Pro models also come with one year free of Google AI Pro plan to unlock advanced Gemini functionality.

5. Battery & Charging :
• Pixel 10: 4970mAh battery, with ~24+ hours of use (up to ~100 hours in Extreme Battery Saver), 30w wired charging and 15w Qi2 wireless charging using built-in Pixelsnap magnetic anchoring system.
Pro XL includes 25 W Qi2 faster charging.
6. Software, Support and Connectivity :
All the models come with Android 16 pre-installed.
• Highlights the support: 7 years of updates android versions, security patches, and Pixel Drops.
Comes with the latest safety features, Satellite SOS, Theft Detection and internal Scam Detection.
• Note: U.S. models later made eSIM only, no physical SIM slot

7. Pricing & Availability :
* U.S. Launch Prices:
* Pixel 10: begins at $799 (128 GB)
* Pixel 10 Pro: beginning at 999 USD (128 GB)
* Pixel 10 Pro XL: starts at 1,199(256 GB).
The Pro Fold is slower to launch--at a price tag of $1,799.
Global / India pricing In India, the models are priced starting at INR 79,999 (Pixel 10), and other trims are also available.
8. Release Dates :
Ordinary pre-orders began on the 20th of August, and Pixel 10, Pro, and Pro XL release is scheduled to begin August 28.
• The Pixel 10 Pro Fold comes a bit later- October 9.
9. Why Pixel 10 Is Worth It :
In the case of the Base Pixel 10:
• Provides SOTA AI functionality even features such as Magic Cue or Camera Coach that are typically just available in Pro models.
